Zamo Mbele is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Consultant in Johannesburg, South Africa. With a decade’s worth of clinical experience, he has practiced as a senior psychotherapist and served as a senior supervisor at Tara H. Moross Hospital and the WITS Donald Gordon Medical Centre. Zamo has worked in both the private and public sectors of South Africa’s mental health services, accumulating extensive experience in the South African public mental health space. He has served as a clinician and in advisory capacities, providing expertise to governance structures and policy-making processes, among other roles. He also lectures for the South African Psychoanalytic Initiative Psychotherapy College and is currently a candidate psychoanalyst with the South African Psychoanalytic Association.
