I qualified from the University of KwaZulu-Natal Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine in 2001. After completing internship and community service I worked in the United Kingdom for two years rotating through oncology, haematology and palliative care units throughout the country. It was here that my passion for oncology was fueled. I returned to South Africa and completed specialisation in clinical oncology at the University of Cape Town, obtaining my FC Rad Onc fellowship in 2011. My main aim is to provide a holistic, caring, efficient and professional service to all my cancer patients and their families. I aim to do this by providing highly individualised care and management and keeping abreast of current national and international standards of care. I hope to always play a positive role in the management and lives of cancer patients.
