Dr Beringer received her medical degree from the University of the Free State in 2007. She qualified as a general paediatrician in 2015 and completed her subspecialty training in Paediatric Haematology and Oncology at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital in 2018.
Dr Beringer manages all childhood cancers and has a particular interest in childhood leukaemia and genetic blood disorders, including sickle cell anaemia and haemophilia. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care, with extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of paediatric cancers. She prioritises clear communication, personalised treatment plans, and holistic support for children and their families throughout every stage of care. She treats children and adolescent young adults up to 18 years of age and is passionate about improving outcomes, advocating for her patients, and strengthening paediatric oncology services within the private healthcare sector.
